Wow! What an amazing experience this was! We were captivated by the wealth of knowledge and experience that Dr Diane Davies shared with us as the UK’s only Maya archaeologist. We were privileged to learn about life in the Central American rainforests many years ago from someone who had first-hand experience of discovering Maya artefacts […]
What a fantastic effort from all our pupils (and some staff,) for our sponsored run/walk/jog event on Friday. The enthusiasm, attitude and sheer determination from all our pupils certainly shone through as they all rose to the challenge. From Reception class to Year 6 the atmosphere was all about supporting, encouraging and cheering each other […]
We had lots of fun today in Maths learning about the different types of angles then working in pairs to demonstrate the different angles including acute, 90 degree, obtuse, straight and reflex angle. Fantastic work Miss Bibby’s class 🙂
The MBPS netball team certainly pulled it out of the bag today with a fabulous win of 21 points to 2! The team played away at St Johns primary school and the player of the match award goes to Harry. Well done team – we are so proud of you.

What an amazing week our Year 6 Pupils have had, the weather has been perfect so far, though I think tomorrow might be bringing us down to earth. The activities that the kids have undertaken have challenged them to their limits – they have smashed it! Whether it was working as a team to conquer […]
Great fun has been had by all this afternoon creating Canopic Jars out of a pringles tub, newspaper and glue! This is an ongoing project over the next half term involving clay modelling, painting and Egyptian hieroglyphics. Watch this space for further developments!!!!
Here’s a quick midweek update from sunny North Wales. All is well – the children have had a great couple of days doing a variety of activities, including raft building, dare-devil climbing and singing by the campfire. Attached are a selection of photos – we will endeavour to add more tomorrow (dodgy wifi permitting!)

After a very busy week Year 2 enjoyed some games, an ice lolly in the sun and parading around in their fantastic homemade wedding hats. The staff were truly overwhelmed with the effort the children put into their hat making and we hope they make another appearance today on the Royal Wedding Day!
Y3 Royal Wedding Celebrations This afternoon in Y3, the children have had lots of fun designing and creating wedding dresses to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding. Whilst they were all brilliant in their own unique way, I don’t think Meghan will be wearing toilet paper tomorrow! Have a lovely weekend, Mrs Hurst
